This Sunday’s Message

Last Week

This Sunday @ Family

What does it mean to truly be a church? What does it mean to be Family? Growing up, in my family was most likely different than yours. I had two brothers, an older and a younger. Often times we didn’t agree on much, we would fight, argue, get mad and angry at each other. Yet we were still family. There was still a sense of loyalty to each other, a sense of obligation, there was love. We were blood. Being family meant something. It didn’t always mean that we agreed, it meant that we could look past our differences and still come together and eat at the same table. Now that we have grown and we are older, we have found, we still don’t always agree on everything, though we don’t fight and argue the same way that we did as children. Yet we value our differences of opinions more. We value perspective, we value experiences, we truly value each other. I believe that at Family we have to get away from feeling like we all have to agree with everyone and everything everyone says, but that we learn to see the value in those around us. At the end of the day we can still come and sit and eat at the same table and celebrate what God is doing in each other’s lives.
As we do that, I find it such an honor and a joy to be a part of this Family
Loving you all

  • You matter. You matter because you are chosen by the Lord—you are His treasured possession. Jesus wants you to be with Him like a coach who recruits athletes; He has picked you to be on His team. He calls the plays and He expects you to excel in the position suited for your skills, gifts and experiences. You matter most to the Lord of Hosts. Since Jesus Christ thinks the world of you, He laid down His life on your behalf. “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4 Papa Rich

  • TONIGHT AT FAMILY ---- Come join Julia Tinney at 7:00 pm as she leads a class entitled "Nutrition On A Mission" She will be walking us through a college level nutrition course with the integration of God's word to help equip us to live a healthy physical and spiritual life.

  • The quiet moments provide the best opportunities to hear from God. When God was making Himself known to Elijah, He sent a windstorm, earthquake, and fire. Yet God was not in those occurrences. The Lord came to Elijah in a still, small voice. Often, It's in the stillness we hear what will carry us through the storms, quakes, and fires of life. When we take advantage of the times of serenity to get before God and hear His voice, we will have what we need when the winds whipping around us. Blessings today Papa Rich

  • Tonight at Family - 6:30pm - Biblical Finances 7:00pm - Release House of Prayer - Come be a part of a time of awesome worship and prayer.

Remember: "For God so loved the WORLD, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." The WORLD includes all nations, even those that do not like Israel, those that might not like us and those that we may not personally like.

  • Pastor Jaime Pierce is in the house tomorrow morning delivering an awesome life changing word. Join us at 10 am for a time of awesome worship. Hope to see u there. Come say hi.
